Courts donates to Ptolemy Reid Centre, Fire Fighters’ games

Furniture giant Courts Guyana yesterday made donations to the Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre (PRRC) and the Caribbean Association of Fire Fighters (CAFF).

Courts donated a dining set and a chair suite to the PRRC and over $150,000 in trophies for the 4th biennial CAFF Goodwill Games at a presentation ceremony at its Main Street branch.

Candace Kewley, the head nurse of the PRRC, said Courts has been a major contributor to the centre over the years. The centre was initially established in 1967 to help care for polio patients but now cares for persons suffering from mental and physical disorders.
