Huh?! This composite photograph taken on Friday shows two police vehicles with the same licence plate number. The picture at the bottom was taken on the Demerara Habour Bridge shortly after the police vehicle slammed into the back of a car. The one at the top was taken at police headquarters Eve Leary about an hour later. Stabroek News was reliably informed that the first vehicle was transporting prisoners when it hit the back of a car. Given that prisoners were in the vehicle the police ranks asked the driver of the car to meet them at police headquarters so that they could sort out the issue. The driver of the car followed instructions but was shocked when he found a police vehicle of a different colour with the same number plate. The man has since been unable to make contact with the policemen in the vehicle that hit his car.
