Tournament hosts Colts as well a fellow Georgetown side Trinity Grid Holdings Pacesetters and Linden unit Victory Valley Royals all recorded opening night victories when the third edition of the Phillip George Legacy Basketball tourney commenced on Saturday.
Played at the Burnham Basketball Court on Carmichael and Middle Streets, Colts crushed Patriots 99-64 while Pacesetters dismantled Berbice unit Rockers 99-61 and Royals defeated Knights 74-63.
Dave Causway led the offence for Colts in the feature matchup as he netted 24 points.
