The driver involved in the La Union, West Coast Demerara accident was on Friday granted his pre-trial freedom in the sum of $500,000 when he faced a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.
Devon Cameron appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Vreed-en-Hoop court where he was also slapped with a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol for which he was granted self-bail. He is scheduled to return to court on December 29.
