Stevedore burglary accused on bail

An excavator operator was yesterday granted $100,000 bail after he denied stealing just under $1M in goods during a break and enter and larceny.

It is alleged that between November 8 and November 9, at Stevedore, Georgetown, Carl Woodman, 20, of 3514 Stevedore Housing Scheme, broke and entered the dwelling house of Nigel McKenzie and stole a quantity of items amounting to a total of $833,000.

Woodman pleaded not guilty to the charge
