On Day Two of the Guyana Amateur Squash Association National short course swimming championships yesterday afternoon Aleka Persaud broke the 50m freestyle in a time of 36.94s in the girls eight years and under category.
She also broke the 50m butterfly event record with a time of 43.51s and she smashed Telena Smith’s record of 1.41.38s in a time of 1.38.11s in the 100 IM.
