North Georgetown rules in the pool

Once again the North Georgetown District/ District 11 has dominated the other districts to top the swimming segment of the 54th National Schools Championship yesterday at the National Aquatic Centre.

Similarly to their previous dominance in this event, North Georgetown ruled in the pool as they finished with more than 100 points ahead of the second place finishers.

At the end of the day the results were as follows; North Georgetown 429 points (pts), North West DT 253 pts, Upper Demerara/ Kwakwani 226 pts, Cuyuni/Mazaruni 174 pts, Rupununi and Essequibo Coast/ Pomeroon joint in fifth on 145 pts, East Georgetown 126 pts, South Georgetown 122.5 pts, West Demerara 50 pts, West Coast Berbice 47 pts, East Bank Demerara 43 pts, New Amsterdam/ Canje 17 pts, East Coast Demerara 12 pts and Potaro/ Siparuni and East Canje/Conrentyne on 10 points each for
