Seventy-three-year-old, Jaswah Ramlall stands on the newly constructed Double Bitumen Surface Treatment (DBST) road at No.64 Village, Berbice, Region Six. GINA said that prior to construction, Third Street, a mud dam, was slushy and had puddles during the wet weather. Last June, the Ministry of Housing and Water through the Community Roads Improvement Programme (CRIP), inked a $74M contract with K.P Jagdeo General Contractor to upgrade the roads in No.64Village.
