Hikers, Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Tigers and Hikers Veterans were crowned the men, women and veteran’s divisional champs respectively when the Diamond Mineral Water International Indoor Hockey Festival concluded on Sunday at the National Gymnasium.
In the men’s divisional finale, Hikers clinched their sixth title by crushing Old Fort by a 5-0 score line. Robert France led the winners with a double while Shane Samuels, Jamarj Assanah and Andrew Stewart completed the score line.
With the win, Hikers received the championship trophy, winners medals and the US$1,000 first place prize.
