As the year nears its end, softball players will have yet another opportunity to stake their claims of supremacy as the Georgetown Softball Cricket League (GSCL) Inc is set to host its inaugural President’s cup open and Over-40 big ball competition this weekend at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and Ogle Community Centre grounds.
On this occasion the participating teams will compete for a first prize of $180,000 in a tourney that is expected to be pulsating.
