Government will have to find around $16M in airfares to deport the 12 Nepalese men who were issued a deportation order by the court last week.
The men Nebrew Sherpa, Shankar Shapota, Benod Jeshe, Prakesh Adi-Khan, Tengi Sherpa, Tengi Cherping, Seetang Goorung, Danraj Timsena, Villey Pouden, Kunjab Guruaging, Cunja Goorung and Prakesh Nipali on Friday, all pleaded guilty to departing Guyana illegally for Venezuela.
They were each fined $30,000 and ordered deported to their homeland.
