Nyron Joseph defeated Matthew Phang 3-0 in their under-19 divisional match when the Guyana Squash Association (GSA) Digicel National Junior Championships continued at the Georgetown Club on Wednesday.
Joseph won the opening set by an 11-2 margin. He claimed the second set by an 11-5 score line to take a 2-0 advantage. He then set the lopsided win when he took the final set 11-1.
In the Boys Under-17 division, Shemane Griffith squeaked past Alec Melville 3-2.
