The University of Guyana (UG) is planning to upgrade its security after a break-in at a student dormitory at the Turkeyen Campus during the weekend.
Five rooms were broken into during the burglary of the New Building Society (NBS) Halls of Residence.
One student, who asked not to be named, told Stabroek News she came back from home on Sunday and found her room ransacked.
