A man accused of wounding another man was granted $45,000 bail yesterday after his lawyer argued that the complainant is a known menace in Plaisance and injured himself while jumping a fence.
Frankie Spelling, 49, of 79 Prince William Street, found himself at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court accused of breaking Michael Williams’ hand at Plaisance on December 29. Spelling was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
