Runway Anniversary

On Sunday The Runway, situated at the Ogle International Airport and one of several snackettes operated by Proprietor Jerry Bacchus will celebrate its fifth anniversary. Bacchus told Stabroek Business earlier this week that the snackette which had its origins as a temporary facility on the spot which now houses the Departure Lounge boasts the distinction of never having missed as trading day since it commenced operations. Bacchus regards The Runway as important to the image of the airport and the Guyana as a whole since it caters to both Guyanese and foreigners. Bacchus’s current focus was on continuing to provide a quality of service befitting the country’s second international airport. (Photo by Aubrey Crawford)
