The mother of Parmanand Deokaran, the teen who was killed after being struck down by a car on the Providence Public Road almost three weeks ago, is calling on the driver responsible to turn himself in.
Deokaran, 18, also known as “Jonny” or “Rago,” of Success, East Coast Demerara, died after he and two friends were struck down on December 21st. The driver fled the scene on foot after the accident.
The two survivors were hospitalised and discharged days after.
A police source told Stabroek News the driver, identified by police as Asif Khan,
