Guyana’s premier cycling event coordinator, Hassan Mohamed, described 2014 as a ‘fantastic year’ and said that he anticipates a successful start of his 2015 calendar of events which pedals off next Saturday.
After organizing 42 events last year which included the signature Independence three-stage road race, the ‘Ride for Life’ five-stage road race and the ‘Big Ride’, the long standing face of cycling said he was pleased with the number of events he was involved in but will look to surpass it once he has the requisite corporate support.
