A man was remanded to prison on Friday after being charged with the theft of a stallion, while the man who claimed he bought the animal from him was released on bail.
The charge against Danny Narine, of Second Street, Agricola, East Bank Demerara and Charles Damian Romeo, of Lot 231 Kaneville, stated that between December 24 and December 25, 2014, at Lamaha and Cowan streets, Georgetown, they stole a stallion valued $180,000, belonging to Randy Ramdeo.
