Duo charged over car allegedly used in robberies

A police search which unearthed a car allegedly used in a series of robberies and a police uniform, in the possession of two men, led to their arrest; they faced charges in connection with the find on Friday.

Delon Small, 33, pleaded not guilty to the charge that on January 20, at Roxanne Burnham Gar-dens he had unlawful possession of an AT212 motor car suspected to be stolen or unlawfully obtained. Quacy Small, 30, was charged with having in his possession a blue police regulation shirt, on the same day at the same address. Small denied the charge after it was read by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
