Man fined for choking High Court guard

Tony Chung, who admitted to choking and threatening a High Court guard, was yesterday fined a total of $15,000.

Chung, who was arraigned on two charges of unlawful assault and a charge of threatening behaviour, faces two weeks in jail if he is unable to pay the fine, which was handed down by city magistrate Ann McLennan.
