US based quarter miler, Stephan James erased the national indoor 400m record on Friday at the Armory Track Invitational in NY, NY.
James, who has continued to excel since earning a scholarship in 2013, clocked 47.15s in placing second in the 400m final of the event and established the new record, lowering the previous mark (47.36s) set by Richard Jones.
