New PUC office: The Public Utilities Commission’s new office at Lot 106, New Garden Street, Queenstown, Georgetown was formally opened yesterday. The Chairman of the Commission, retired Justice Prem Persaud and Prime Minister Samuel Hinds spoke at the opening recalling the long road to finding a permanent residence since the commission became operational in 1991.
