The Ministry of Local Government has said that more than 232 truckloads of waste was removed from Linden when it launched the ‘Clean up my country’ programme in the township last month-end.
In a press release, the ministry said the programme started on Wednesday January 28 and has been extended to Friday February 6 to facilitate the removal of illegal garbage piles in parts of Amelia’s Ward and its environs. The programme was implemented in the Region Ten
