A young man is nursing a stab wound to his stomach in the Georgetown Public Hospital after he was locked out of the Amerindian Hostel on Tuesday evening.
Ishmael Hunter travelled from the Upper Mazaruni area to receive treatment for a fractured leg and was staying at the hostel at the time.
The injured man’s sister, Lydra, told Stabroek News that they had no knowledge of what led to the stabbing,
