EPA staking out Mandela Avenue for garbage dumpers

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is staking out Mandela Avenue to thwart the dumping of garbage. A release from the Ministry of Natural Resources said that residents within the East and West Ruimveldt areas should note that identified polluters will be fined $50,000 and issued a Clean-up/Litter Removal Order. The release said that investigations at this hot spot on February 19, 2015  revealed the identity of several residents including Lynden Colin Shipley of East Ruimveldt, Nicholas Jermaine Cameron of East Ruimveldt, and Grenda Smith of West Ruimveldt Housing Scheme. The release said that the Agency intends to take legal action against these individuals and others found littering and illegally dumping.
