Region Three NDCs receive approved 2015 budgets

The Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development, has handed over the approved budgets for the 14 Neighbourhood Democratic Councils (NDCs) in Region Three, Essequibo Islands-West Demerara.

GINA said that at the brief ceremony held at the Best/Klien/Pouderoyen tarmac, Minister of Local Government and Regional Development Norman Whittaker presented the representatives of Wakenaam, Leguan, Mora/Parika, Hydronie/Good Hope, Greenwich Park/Vergenoegen, Tuschen/Uitvlugt, Stewartville/Cornelia Ida, Hague/Blankenburg, La Jalousie/Nouvelle Flanders, Best/Klien Pouderoyen, Malgre Tout/Meer Zorgen, La Grange/Nismes, Canals Polder and Toevlugt/Patentia NDCs with their 2015 budgets, after they were reviewed and approved by the ministry.
