Demerara Bank Limited recently presented an award to an outstanding University of Guyana Student Nanda Persaud.
Persaud, employee of Demerara Bank Limited since August 2013 was awarded the Best Graduating student by the University of Guyana for the Banking & Finance programme 2014.
When asked about her recent achievement and how she was able to balance work and studies a release from Demerara Bank said that Persaud said she still feels she is on cloud nine and stated ‘success is 1 % inspiration and 99% perspiration’, nothing she said can be achieved without hard work and dedication and being able to balance work and studies is truly a success in its entirety’.
