Scores turn up for glaucoma testing

In observance of World Glaucoma Week 2015, the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Guyana Vision 2020 Committee, Eye Care Guyana and the Guyana Optometrists Association, and ANSA McAl Group of Companies, yesterday hosted a glaucoma screening exercise.

The event was held at Fogarty’s Ground Floor, Water Street, Georgetown, from 10:00hrs to 15:00 hrs. GINA said that cores of Guyanese turned up to see ophthalmologists, optometrists, nurses or optometry students.
