Under the Government of Guyana Clean-Up My Country Programme, the Bartica Interim Management Committee received equipment for the sustaining of the clean-up programme within Bartica and its environs, a release from the Ministry of Local Government said on Saturday.
The equipment was valued at $14.7m and comprised one mini excavator, one tractor and trailer, and 25 solid waste receptacles.
