Charles Austin, who allegedly stole jewellery and other valuables from a woman who was said to be his former partner, was yesterday cleared of a simple larceny charge after he offered compensation.
It was alleged that on March 10, at Georgetown, Austin, 35, stole from the person of Davlyn Daniels a quantity of gold jewellery and other valuables, amounting to $100,000.
