A West Bank Demerara man was yesterday sentenced to five months in jail after he was found guilty of wounding a woman.
Leroy Johnson, 57, of Nismes, appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts about one month ago and pleaded not guilty to the charge that on February 6, at Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown, he unlawfully wounded Pamela Gordon.
