The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Small Business Bureau within the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce which will see more micro-businesses entering the formal economy, a release from the GRA said today.

Commissioner-General, Khurshid Sattaur, who signed on behalf of the GRA, noted that through this initiative, the Small Business Bureau is greatly assisting the GRA in executing its mandate, thereby reducing the informal economy by bringing more persons into the tax net, the release said.
