A Lusignan man yesterday found himself in a city court charged with obtaining over $23 million from another man by pretending he was in a position to build a shed for him.
The charge against Mohamed Feroze Ali, of Lot 53 Lusignan, East Coast Demerara, stated that between March 1 and March 31, 2013, he obtained $23,496,800 from Ashraf Ali by pretending he was in a position to construct a shed, knowing the claim to be false.
