Granger shares kites to children of Friendship

Over one-hundred children were awaiting the arrival of the Leader of the People’s National Congress, David Granger, as he arrived at the Buxton-Friendship gas station to distribute kites to the children of the area, a PNC press release said yesterday

While encouraging the children to fly their kites safely, Granger also reminded the children that the tradition of kite flying during Easter signifies the resurrection of Jesus Christ after the Crucifixion.

The event was organized by Friendship businessman Morris Wilson and his wife Jocelyn, the release said.
