Chetram Nagesar’s physique popped in the all right places at Saturday’s Novices Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships leading to a popping sound backstage, the sound of a celebratory bottle of champagne.
The 21-year-old Corentyne resident, brought his talents to the city and used his sharp physique to slice through the competition and take the overall spoils of the annual event held at the Theatre Guild.
Before claiming the overall trophy in the pose down of category winners, the crowd favourite, clad in a blue posing briefs, posed and flexed his way to the under 132-pound title besting four other musclemen.
