A koker door at Windsor Forest, West Coast Demerara broke on Saturday under the pressure of high tides and quick work by the Regional Democratic Council of Region Three aided in the installation of a temporary solution. A board was placed in order to stop the water from flowing in. Stabroek News visited the koker yesterday afternoon during the high tide and the temporary structure remains in place. However, according to residents, to fix the broken door will take approximately a month.
