At about 1200h. today, the police say that Shawn Pestano, 50 years, of Rose Hall, Corentyne, was involved in an argument with a man at Port Mourant during which he was chopped to his body.
He later succumbed at the Port Mourant Hospital.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
