The Most Valuable Player (MVP) prize in the inaugural Busta Shoe Football Championship received a generous boost as hardware company 2Js General Store donated $50,000 towards the accolade.

At a simple ceremony at the entity’s Regent Street locale, Supervisor Loyette Barnwell handed over the monetary donation to the tourney’s organizers, the Petra Organization.

Barnwell during brief address said that the company is pleased to be associated with tournament and to be able to contribute to such a cause.

Petra Co-Director Troy Mendonca thanked the company for their assistance, noting that entity’s contribution highlights the promising relationship between the two institutions.

He further said that the company has always been affiliated to the Petra Organization and that their contribution is an example that should be followed.
