Mackenzie High School and Linden Technical Institute will faceoff today in the final of the annual Victory Valley Royals organized Linden Secondary Schools U19 basketball tourney following wins on Monday at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) hardcourt.
Mackenzie High squeaked past arch-rivals Christianburg/Wismar Secondary by a 34-30 score line after trailing by 10 points in the final three minutes of the fixture. Otis Williams led the winners with eight points while Tyrese Mitchell and Yannick Tappin supported with seven points each.
