Cubans fined for forged passport stamps

Three Cuban nationals were fined $100,000 each yesterday after they admitted to forging immigration stamps in their passports.

Amanys Oliva Pompa, Yenier Pupo Torres and Osandi Perez Benites all pleaded guilty to the charges when they appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry in a city court.

The charge against them stated that on April 24th, 2015, they forged the immigration service arrival stamps on their
