Imran Baksh, a Lima Sands, Essequibo Coast resident, on Wednesday staged a one-man protest in front of the Regional Democratic Council office to highlight a two-year delay in the installation of water tanks given to the community by the government.
Baksh told Stabroek News that the Community Development Council (CDC), headed by Roslin Thompson, refused to give permission for the installation of the two tanks.
