A miner was yesterday granted bail after allegedly robbing a woman of her jewellery.
Akeem Hayman pleaded not guilty to the charge, which stated that on April 25th, in the vicinity of the Stabroek Market, he robbed Savita Davi-John of a $60,000 gold band and a $1,200 bangle.
Hayman, of Duncan Street, was granted $50,000 bail and ordered to return to court on a May 22nd.
