A man was yesterday sentenced to three years in jail after he was found guilty of wounding his sister, whom he burnt with a pot of boiling rice and then beat her with it.
Daniel Younge, 28, of East La Penitence was found guilty by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the conclusion of his trial at Georgetown Magistrates’ Court 1.
