Attorney General Anil Nandlall yesterday said that the PPP/C has no immediate plans to approach the High Court to challenge aspects of the just concluded general and regional elections but made it clear that this is an option that can be used once the need arises.
“As far as I am aware as of now the party is not preparing anything to go to court, not that we will not go to court if the eventuality arises if we see it as necessary”, Nandlall, the PPP/C’s lead attorney told reporters at Freedom House yesterday.
