Youths charged with robbing fellow bus passengers at stop

Two youths were yesterday remanded to prison after they were charged with robbing two women of cash and valuables as they disembarked the bus in which they were all passengers.

Jermain Daley, 22, of 34, Cooper Street, Albouystown and Akeem Charles, 20, of 178 West Ruimveldt, both denied the robbery charge read against them in a city court. Although shackled, Charles attempted to flee after the hearing but was apprehended by police.
