A bus driver was yesterday charged with causing the death of a suspected thief, whom he allegedly struck off a motorcycle during a chase.
Mahendra Moonsammy, 29, of 177 Barr Street, Kitty, pleaded not guilty yesterday to a charge of causing death by dangerous driving when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court 1.
Moonsammy is accused of driving vehicle BRR 6950 dangerously and hitting Devon Forde’s motorcycle
