The common-law husband of Carol Shako has admitted to chopping her to death with an axe at Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke/ Linden Highway on Monday morning, according to Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum.
Blanhum told Stabroek News that the suspect confessed that he inflicted the fatal wounds after Shako, 42, could not account for an unknown sum of money.
