Taxi driver accused of armed robberies

A taxi driver was remanded to prison on Monday after being accused of committing two armed robberies.

Dennis Rampersaud, 34, of Lot 185 Pineapple Street, East Ruimveldt pleaded not guilty to the two counts of armed robbery when he appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court 2.
