At his first press conference as the new Minister of Education, Dr. Rupert Roopnaraine today spoke of the obligation the Ministry has to the thousands of students across Guyana. At a press conference to announce the results of this year’s National Grade Six Assessment, the Education Minister said that while development in other sectors is important education remains the single most important benefit to the country.
