Indian High Commissioner pays courtesy call on Public Infrastructure Ministers

Venkatachalam Mahalingam, Indian High Commissioner to Guyana, today paid a courtesy call to the country’s Public Infrastructure Ministers at their Wight’s Lane office, a release from the Ministry said today.

The visit was to congratulate David Patterson and Annette Ferguson, Minister within the Ministry of Public Infrastructure on their appointments and to discuss issues of bilateral interest in the infrastructure sector.

The release said that the High Commissioner also updated the Ministers on Exim Bank’s Government of India Line of Credit (LOC) offer of US$50M for the East Bank/East Coast road linkages.
